The application process begins on January 1. Applications wishing to be considered must be submitted and received no later than 5:00 PM (PST) on March 31 of the current academic year. Applications that are incomplete or missing required materials will not be considered. Applications received after the deadline will not be accepted.
The assessment will be conducted based on financial need and academic performance, and awards will be integrated into each student’s total financial aid package.
Scholarship funds will be distributed by the end of May for the current academic year.
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
Be a currently enrolled monastic in a college or graduate program of Buddhist Studies, or
Be a currently enrolled student in a Buddhist college, and
Not have graduated in or before June of the current year.
